Animals Special Feature - Bats Special Feature - Have you ever seen a bat fly? We rarely see bats flying during the day, because these animals alive at night. Foresail including mammals, namely children and lactating animals reproduce by means of delivery. These animals are very unique, because of its ability to fly and find food at night.


The distinctive characteristic of what the bat?

Bats are often found in a very dark cave. To be able to fly with the right direction, bats use sonar system. The bat emits a high frequency (ultrasonic sound) as much as possible. Later, he listened to the reflected sound with his hearing senses. That way , the bat can determine the precise location of an object, so that bats are able to fly in the dark without bumping into surrounding objects.

The ability of bats to know its surroundings using sonar system known as echolocation. Another special characteristic of bats are flying ability. These mammals can fly because it has a thin skin membrane between the bones contained in his arms. Another feature that is owned by this animal, which is the position of daytime sleep by hanging upside down and position of the body.

Prambanan, the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia - Prambanan temple is also called Cadi Jonggrang. Prambanan temple is a temple complex, which consists of several temples located in Prambanan sub-district (Sleman) and Prambanan sub-district (Klaten) a distance of approximately 17 miles Northeast of Yogyakarta, 50 miles Southwest of Surakarta and 120 km South of Semarang.


Prambanan temple is located on the border between Central Java and Yogyakarta (DIY). Prambanan temple is very unique layout, which is in the administrative area Bokoharjo village, Prambanan, Sleman, while the entrance of the Prambanan temple complex located in the administrative region Tlogo village, Prambanan, Klaten.

In the school holidays, Prambanan temple is visited the students who want to see directly from the close of the splendor and history. The students come from various parts of Indonesia, especially from Java island.

Temple was built in the 9th century AD. This temple is dedicated to Trimurti, the three main Hindu gods are named:
  1. Brahma the creator god
  2. Vishnu as the preserver god
  3. Shiva the god of destruction
Based on the inscription Siwagrha original name of the temple complex of Prambanan is Siwagrha (Sanskrit which means 'house of Shiva'), and indeed in garbagriha (main hall) of the temple is the statue of Shiva Mahadeva dwells as high as three meters which showed that Lord Shiva in this temple are preferred.
